§ 1 What theunsend is
theunsend is a digital companion — a software product designed to support people in the first weeks after a breakup. theunsend is not a therapeutic, medical or psychological service within the meaning of the German Heilpraktikergesetz, and does not replace treatment by qualified professionals.
§ 2 Contract formation and prices
A contract with Bytegleam GbR is formed when you create an account and choose a plan. Current prices are listed on theunsend.com. All prices include statutory VAT.
§ 3 Right of withdrawal (EU consumers)
You have the right to withdraw from this contract within fourteen days without giving any reason. The period begins on the day the contract is concluded. To exercise your right, an informal notice to hello@theunsend.com is sufficient. For digital content consumed before the withdrawal period expires, the right ends only if you have given prior explicit consent.
§ 4 Cancelling a subscription
The monthly plan can be cancelled at any time, effective at the end of the current billing period — directly from your account, in two clicks. No retention forms, no friction.
§ 5 Crisis disclaimer
In the event of an acute mental health crisis, suicidal thoughts or danger to yourself or others, please contact professional help immediately — e.g. Telefonseelsorge on 0800 111 0 111 (Germany, free, 24/7) or the emergency number 112.
§ 6 Liability
We are liable in accordance with statutory law. Liability for indirect damages and lost profits is excluded unless caused by gross negligence or intent.
§ 7 Governing law
German law applies, excluding the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods. Consumer protection provisions of the country in which you have your habitual residence remain unaffected.
